Frames have been tested to GSA government standards.
Corners are glued, blocked and stapled.
Seats and back spring rails are cut from 7/8” hardwood.
Stripes and patterns are match cut.
All fabrics are pre-approved for wearability and durability against AHFA standards.
Coil Seating features individually pocketed coils to create uniformed shape and consistent support for durable seating comfort.

is the cushions firm and comfortable???? Asked by betty white

Hi Betty, Thank you for your interest. Every person differs in what they consider to be comfortable. The Mallie Pecan Sofa features individually pocketed coil springs, that are fully encased in a resilient foam for stability, then fully wrapped in plush fiber. According to the manufacturer, Ashley Furniture, this sofa provides durable and luxurious seating comfort.
I'm not inquiring about the durability nor design of the seat cushions, are the seat cushions soft or firm AND are they detachable from the sofa? Asked by Jane D

Hello Jane, Thank you for your inquiry. The seat cushions are more firm than soft. The back cushions are attached while the seat cushions are removable.
