- Disappointed, but then impressed given the facts.Recommended Product
- I ordered this set originally on May 3rd and was given a 1-3 week delivery. After not hearing anything after a couple of inquires (~3 weeks), I decided to cancel due to lack of funds and response time. Placed the order again after my funds were replenished, and hoped for the best. Thought the same thing was going to happen, but it ended up shipping within a week, and after MUCH IMPROVED communication. It appears to be a few man business and must admit that they are doing their best considering the volume of orders I'm sure they receive. They gave me a window of 4pm-8pm on Saturday and showed up almost right on time. They were very quick to unload the furniture, and were kind enough to bring it around to the back of the house and all the way into my apartment, even though I only had curbside delivery. The furniture came in 4 HEAVY boxes, and they moved them with ease and were extremely delicate.
I fully understand what's involved with a start up business, and these guys are on the right track. Within a matter of 3-4 weeks, they GREATLY improved the quality of service. More than most big businesses are able to accomplish in years of "changes".
I am extremely impressed with the business model they are building and wish them nothing but the best as it appears they actually listen to the customer, and try to improve with whatever it is you point out. These guys see the order through the ENTIRE process, and if you are willing to cut them some slack, you will not be disappointed.
The quality of the furniture I received was robust, and feels very solid. It is NOT built in China, and I can see that they are not willing to succumb to the pressures of re-selling cheap product with a nice profit.
I am rarely a man who eats his own words, but will in this case. These guys really have a strong business model going and hope they stay on the right track.
Overall, a GREAT experience and would definitely recommend this set, and this company, to anyone looking for a great deal on quality furniture NOT manufactured in China.
