- The bed is solid and beautiful but I figured it would be tough to put together. Not at all! I'm a 45 year old woman who put it together mostly by myself with a few times of assistance to hold something in place. Took 2 hours once I got started. It came in 3 boxes and very nicely packed. No damage at all and in fact a lot of time was spent trying to unpackage and unwrap all the pieces it was done so nicely.
