Have a Question about Paxton Round Dining Table? Ask a Question- The glass top looks to just be sitting on top of the table base unattached. Is the glass top sturdy and stable? I'm concerned about a child leaning too hard on an unattached top and flipping the glass! I really like this set, but have to think about safety first. Thanks! Asked by Kat

Thank you for contacting Furniture Pick. The table top on the Paxton Round Dining Table just sits on top of the base. They use some type of magentized metal plate on the base that the table top sits on. I say this would not be very secure for children.
